On the occasion of Independence Day, August 15, 2025, a plantation of 85 indigenous trees was carried out at the Matang community cremation ground in Wambori (Rahuri) by the Girikarnika Global Foundation. This tree plantation received special support from Gaurav Sasane and Catalysts for Social Action (CSA). Nature lovers from the local area and the Girikarnika team were also present on this occasion. Heartfelt thanks to all the nature lovers who extended their support for this initiative.

On the occasion of Independence Day, August 15, 2025, a plantation of 155 indigenous trees using the Miyawaki method was carried out at the premises of ZP School, Vambori (Rahuri), by team Girikarnika Global Foundation.
